We are a non-profit (501(c)(3) service association in the greater
Pasco,Kennewick,Richland area of southeast Washington. We formed in 2005 after we had successfully
put on our first bluegrass festival in 2004.
Our Mission: To foster and promote traditional arts and acoustic music including, but not
limited to, conducting research, providing instruction, maintaining archives and collections on traditional acoustic
music and traditional arts, conducting and sponsoring public shows and
exhibitions of such arts, and providing charitable contributions for the furtherence of traditional
acoustic music and/ or arts to the general public.

The association provides the resources for the MCTAMA members to advance their talents
within the scope of the club, whether it be musical talents, cooking talents,organizational

Association Activities
All of our activities are wholesome (although some are fattening) and family oriented.
Music Concerts
We present concerts (usually Bluegrass) in the fall and spring each year.
Sacajawea Bluegrass Festival & Dutch Oven Rendezvous
We present Sacajawea Bluegrass Festival & Dutch Oven Rendezvous on the second full weekend in June.
Sacajawea Heritage Days
This free to the public living history event is held on the last full weekend in September.
Tuesday Evening Acoustic Jam.
Hosted by MCTAMA,this all acoustic music jam has all musical genres.
Mostly, we play Country, Folk, Old-Time and Bluegrass. Sometimes our Rocker friends show up and we play some
good 'ol rock n' roll. Location: Quinault Baptist Church in Kennewick at 5400 W Canal Dr. which is right
in front of the Court Club just one block west of Edison Street.
The jams are from 7 - 9 PM on Tuesday evenings.

First Thursday Bluegrass Music Jam
One of our chapters, Mid-Columbia Bluegrass Association, hosts a bluegrass music jam every first Thursday at 7:00 P.M. Location: First Christian Church, 16th and W. Marie, Pasco WA. Bluegrass music fans are welcome, as well as musicians.
Bluegrass Music Workshops
We organize learning workshops at Sacajawea Bluegrass Festival, and also when we hear some amazing teacher is passing through town. Members get discounted prices for all of our activities.
Dutch Oven Gatherings
One of our chapters, Three Rivers Cast Iron Cookers, puts on fun cooking get-togethers several times a
summer
Dutch Oven Demonstrations and Seminars
TRCIC also presents events aimed at teaching people about Dutch Oven Cooking,which is part of our mission
